Heart and Brain Coherence Meditation

This meditation allows you to focus your mind internally, away from your looping thought patterns.  Anxious, fearful, and depressing thoughts take us away from acknowledging the real potential for self-love, self-acknowledgment.  When we are self-assured and love ourselves enough, our ability to manifest what serves us and those around us increase.

Practice this meditation once a day.  You can also try this meditation when you feel confused, unsure, and fearful.  By experimenting and practically applying this meditation, you will discover that you have all the power in you to create the life you want.

Method:

  • Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.

  • Put your hand over your heart.

  • Start breathing from your nose.

  • As you breathe, visualize the oxygen traveling through your body into your heart, carrying all the nutrients you need.

  • As you breathe in, imagine that you are taking in the nourishment your body needs as if you are eating your favorite healthy meal.  As you breathe out, your heart is doing its job to distribute the nutrients the body needs and getting rid of what you no longer need out of your body.  

  • Continue breathing, as described.  Repeat the mantra, “Love, Joy, Compassion,” as you breathe in and out.  

  • Allow your mind to go where it needs to go.  You may see colors or hear words. You may remember events or images may appear.

  • Acknowledge whatever showed up in this meditation and thank your higher self for allowing this insight to come through.
